Notice to Friends of MTM

While this newsletter was in the process of being printed, we learned of the tragic death of Dr. Charles Chandler, Jr., the 40-year-old son of our Executive Director and his wife, Charles and Betty Lou Chandler. He died while kayaking on the New River near Beckley, West Virginia on June 13, 1998. Charles, Jr. (Corky) was an Endodontist in Anniston, AL. He and his wife, Mary, have one son, Charles, III ( Trey), age six. His funeral was held in Anniston on June 18. The family has established a memorial fund in his honor at MTM in lieu of flowers. Let us all join in prayer support for Charles and Betty Lou, Mary and Trey, and the rest of the family.
