Meet MTM's New Board Members

DONALD L. ANDERSON

Don and his wife, Jeanne, live in San Antonio, TX and are the parents of three daughters all of whom live in Texas.  Don attended public school in Illinois, Colorado and Oklahoma.  He earned a B.A. at William Jennings Bryan College, Dayton, TN and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, University of Texas at Austin.

He has been the pastor of several Baptist churches in Texas; was the founding Executive Director, Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health, San Antonio; and is the Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

M. DOUGLAS CLARK

Doug and his wife, Shirley, live in Snellville, GA and are the parents of a grown daughter and son.  They have one granddaughter.  Doug is a Counselor at the Masters Counseling Center in Jonesboro, GA.  He earned a B.A. at Samford University, Birmingham, AL, a Ph.D. at The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY and a M.A. in Psychology at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in Atlanta, GA.

He has a varied professional career that includes being an elementary school teacher; a chaplain for the Volunteers of America; a pastor for two years in a small rural church; five years in a rural inter-denominational church and six years in a campus church; and a corporate safety consultant.  For 17 years, he has been an adult layman and that included five years as a deacon and one year as the chairman.

ROY N. FORD, JR.

Roy and his wife, June, live in Danville, VA.  They are the parents of one son.  Roy has a B.A. from the University of Richmond, Richmond, VA; M. Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC and a D. Min. from Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, VA.

He has been pastor of Baptist churches in North Carolina and Virginia and is on the Executive Committee of the Virginia Baptist General Board.  He is Chairman of the Board and Joint Owner of the Roy N. Ford Co., Inc., a construction company specializing in grading and paving.  He is on the Board of Directors, Habitat for Humanity, Martinsville-Henry County, VA.

W. WAYNE PRICE

Wayne and his wife, Jo Anna, live in Williamsburg, VA and are the parents of two grown daughters.  He grew up in Covington, KY and earned a B.A. at Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, TN; M. Div. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY; M.A. at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY; D. Min. at the Lexington (KY) Theological Seminary, and does annual continuing education at the Princeton (NJ) Theological Seminary.

He has been pastor in Baptist churches in Kentucky and Virginia.   Currently he is a postulant for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church.  He is involved in a variety of Christian social ministries.  In his spare time, he is a writer, closet violinist and a student of art and art history.

PATRICIA R. TURNER

Patricia and her husband, William F. Turner, live in Churchville, MD.   She is the mother of two daughters, the stepmother of a son and daughter and the grandmother of five granddaughters.  She earned B.A. and M.A. degrees at Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green.  She pursued additional studies in psychology at James Madison University in Virginia and Goucher College.  Towson State University, and Loyola College in Maryland.

She is a member of the Churchville Presbyterian Church and has served on the Board of Elders, Board of Trustees, Board of Deacons, Christian Education Committee and Sunday school teacher.  Her current job is the Vice Moderator of the Pastoral Nominating Committee and the Membership and Evangelism Committee.  She is a member of the Maryland Retired Teacher's Association and the Country Garden Club of Harford County.
