It is hard to believe, folks ... but this is ... TRUE

At a recent Wellness Retreat, a staff member's wife tearfully told how the pastor leaned over at a social function a few days after her husband was forced to resign and smiled as he whispered in her ear, "I worked for four years to get rid of your husband and I am going to see to it that he never gets another church job."

The staff member's wife had harbored those words in her heart for over a year before sharing them at the Wellness Retreat.

Though no charge has been brought against his character, doctrine or work ethic, the clash in personalities made him useless to the Kingdom of God in the pastor's eyes. The staff member had strong support from the congregation, but the church leadership yielded to the pastor's demands that they refuse to allow him time to find another place of service before resigning.

He had served the church for eight years -- another casualty of forced termination.
