A Strategic Vision for the Future of MTM
A blue-ribbon committee of MTM leaders was charged with developing a proposal plan for the future growth and effectiveness of the MTM organization. The group developed the following statements of intention: Five Key Issues were identified.
- Funding - having sufficient financial and human resources to effectively fulfill the mission of MTM.
- Leadership Transition - helping prepare the way for smooth staff transitions with the eventual retirement of current staff and the coming of new staff.
- New Programs and Projects - adding new services and ministries to continue broadening what MTM has to offer.
- Continuing Board Development - moving the board toward a balance of personal experience, professional expertise and financial means.
- Institutional Relations - developing more and stronger partnerships with denominational and para-church groups with which MTM can cooperate to achieve our goals.
With this Strategic Vision for the Future, MTM begins a strategic plan process, chaired by Bob Perry, to help the organization transition to a new level of ministry through 2004 our 10th anniversary.
