Trustees heard these facts at last meeting

Healthy Transitions Wellness Retreats were scheduled for three consecutive months during the spring and summer of 2000 (May, June and July) and for three consecutive months in the fall and winter (October, November and December). Nine retreats are scheduled for 2001. That is a 50 percent increase over any previous year.

A Sunday school class at West Hampton Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia has made the MTM ministry a class project. The class is sending MTM a check every month.

A small church, Potomac Baptist Church in Sterling, Virginia, has put the MTM ministry in its budget for a percentage of undesignated gifts. The church sends MTM a check every quarter.

The Superintendent of the North Carolina Yearly Friends Meeting received a copy of The Servant from a Friends pastor with whom MTM's Executive Director Chandler had spoken about a Healthy Transitions Wellness Retreat. The Superintendent sent e-mail to the MTM office asking for additional information. Later, he wanted all members of his Pastoral Care Committee and 75 pastors added to The Servant mailing list.
