Meet The New MTM Trustees

David Drewes
Rev. David Drewes was born September 25, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio.  He completed his undergraduate and Seminary work in Columbus, graduating in 1983.  Rev. Drewes enjoys the unique position of serving in the same church, St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, where his grandfather served.  He has served there since November of 1993 and in that time has had the privilege of getting to know his parishioners, some of whom have been there since his grandfather's time.

One of Rev. Drewes most interesting hobbies is restoring classics.  He is currently working on restoring a 1922 Edison Baby Console phonograph and a 1935 Wurlitzer P-12 Automated Record Machine (a jukebox before they called them jukeboxes!).  He has restored two rare vintage Volkswagens and has been seen tooling around in one of only two T34's in Ohio.

Rev. Drewes is married to Ellen Drewes, Director of Grief Services for Hospice of Fairfield County and has two teenage daughters.

He has gone through two forced terminations and is eager to assist other ministers through such difficult times.

She was awarded the Doctor of Divinity Degree by the University of Richmond.

Dr. Pugh has been a member of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board since 1995, has served on the Board for two consecutive terms, and was Chair of the Missions Mobilization committee from 1998-2001.  In 2000 she joined the Institutional Review Board of St. Mary's Hospital.  She is also a board member of the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
