Hunter
R. Hill, D.Min.
Dr. Hill is a Pastoral Counselor with the Virginia Institute of Pastoral
Care, Richmond. A native of New York, he received degrees from
Davidson College, North Carolina, and Union Theological Seminary (D. Min),
Richmond. He has done post-graduate work at Virginia Commonwealth
University.
He is a certified Fellow by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and licensed as a Professional Counselor by the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a member of the Presbytery of the James Presbyterian Church (USA).
Dr.
Hill and his wife, Lyn, have two children. He was a charter member of
the MTM Foundation Board of Trustees and served two terms, rotating off the
active group in 2000.
Norvie
L. Lay, S.J.D.
As a Professor at the University of Louisville School of Law, Dr. Lay
teaches taxation and estate planning. He received degrees from the
University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville (JD), and the
University of Michigan (L.L.M. and S.J.D.). He was a Cook Fellow at
the University of Michigan.
He
has published extensively in law reviews and in professional journals. He
authored the book Tax and Estate Planning for Community Property and the
Migrant Client.
Dr. Lay has interests in the visual and performing arts and has served on
numerous boards to supervise and promote these arts. He is a member of
the Broadway Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky. He was a charter
member of the MTM Board of Trustees. He served two terms, rotating off
the active group in 2001.
Robert
L. Perry, D.Min.
Dr. Perry serves as the Executive Missions Team Leader for the Richmond
Baptist Association, Richmond, Virginia. A native of Missouri, he
received degrees from Southwest Missouri State University and Midwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary (D. Min.), both in Missouri. He also
studied at the Spanish Language School in Guadalajara, Mexico.
He has written books and numerous articles for Christian periodicals including Pass the Power, Please, Futuroping: How Churches Can Do Multiple Scenario Planning, Congregational Wellness: Help for Broken Churches, and he co-authored Values-Based Tactical Planning.
Dr.
Perry and his wife, Dr. Marilyn Nelson, share three sons and a grandson.
He was a charter member of the MTM Board of Trustees, serving two terms
prior to rotating off the active trustees in 2001. He served as chair
of the trustees 1997-2000.
