Meet the New Trustees
Geoffrey
R. McDonald - Geoff was born in
Honolulu
,
Hawaii
. Since his
father was a career military person, he lived in many states and countries.
He graduated from high school in
Hawaii
, received his AB
degree from the
University
of
Virginia
, and earned a law
degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. He is the founder of
the Geoffrey R. McDonald & Associates Law Firm, which specializes in
Labor Relations. Geoff is active in his community, coaches a football
team, is a member of the Rotary Club of Richmond, and loves sports.
While living in
Germany
, his parents took him
to the Munich Olympics when he was ten years old and he got the Olympic
"bug." He attended the 2000 games in
Sidney
and the 2004 games in
Athens
.
He is an active member of
Richmond
's Third
Presbyterian Church and has volunteered to use his legal training to counsel
and coach ministers in crisis. Following a Rotary program on
Ministering to Ministers Foundation in July, he went back to his office and
talked with two of his partners and they also volunteered to give time and
expertise in assisting ministers in crisis. Geoff has two children, a son
and a daughter.

David
A. Myers - A graduate of
Mississippi
College
and Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary in
Louisville

, David earned his D.
Min in Christian Social Ministries and Administration. David has
pastored churches in
Kentucky
,
South Carolina
and
Mississippi
. Under
appointment of the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, he
served as Director of Christian Social Ministries in the Hinds-Madison
Baptist Association in
Jackson
,
Mississippi
for nine years before
coming to the Hamilton County Baptist Association,
Chattanooga
,
Tennessee
, in 1984 where he
continues to serve as Director of Missions. He serves on various
community service organization boards and has previously served as chair of
the MTM Board of Trustees. He assists in leading two MTM Wellness
Retreats each year conducted at
Carson-Newman
College
in
Tennessee
. David is
married to Brenda and they have two grown children and three grandchildren
whom they give their best to spoiling!

Archibald
Wallace, III - Mr. Wallace is a
founding partner of the law firm of WallcePledger LLC and former partner at
Sands, Anderson, Marks & Miller of Richmond, VA. Church law is one
of his areas of specialty. In addition to his legal education at the
T.C.
Williams
School
of Law and the
University
of
Richmond
, Arch received his
M.Div. degree from Union Theological Seminary,
Richmond
. He has
provided hundreds of hours of free legal counsel and coaching to ministers
in crisis. He also serves on a part-time basis as pastor of Montrose
Presbyterian Church in
Richmond
. He and his
wife, Gena, have two sons, two daughters, and several grandchildren.
He was a charter member of the MTM Board of Trustees.
